The investigation was introduced by Ariel Givner, appearing common counsel of the DAO, in an X statement on August 7 during which the claims have been heard.

The investigation was initiated by X person @hankobaggins, who concerns expressed on why roughly 586 SOL – or about half of MonkeDAO validator revenues as of December 2023 – had not been allotted to the treasury, elevating considerations inside the group over the administration of funds.
